Does the name John Frazier ring a bell with anyone?
Wife was Jenny Frazier and maybe second wife Maggie?

There is two Maggie Fraziers that I have seen.
I know one was married to a John Frazier and there children were Star Frazier, Mary Kitto and Charles Frazier. I think there was one more child that died very young.

John Frazier--Hanyetuduta, "Scarlet Night". Son of Joseph "Jack" Frazier, and as Dawn said, father of Mary, Star, Charles, and Jessie Frazier who died while only a teenager. Married Maggie and Jenny..both sisters of Artemis Ehnamani. After being told by the BIA that he could not keep both wives, he returned to MN with Jenny, the younger of the two, with daughters Maggie, Agnes, Julia, and son James. Carl Leith is a descendent of Agnes. And as many of you know, John Frazier was my gggrandfather.

We hve tons and tons of info on John Frazier and he has many lds who have been certified. I am the ggg-granddaughter of John Frazier. I am also the gg niece of Maggie Fraizer. Maggie was the half sister of my gg-grandfather John K. Henry. Hope this helps.

I believe that Maggie was John's first wife as she was older than Jennie. Star and Charles had another brother
I think his name was High Goose. Not sure what happened to him. Like Tonya, John Frazier was my
GGG-Grandfather and Maggie my GGG-Grandmother.
Through their son Charles.

Some of that info is put away; I can look for it and get back to you. I have seen that about William Saul being the brother of Esaias Frazier. I have a family tree that relates a lot to Esaias, but I don't think William is on it. The Frazier-Saul connection that I am well informed on is through my gr grandfather John Clark Saul Sully who is the son of Charles Frazier. John Saul Sully is the child of Lucy Saul Sully. Lucy is the child of John and Mary Saul.
Kelly Frazier is an ld from Esaias Frazier, she has lots of info and she is a member on this forum. She may have more info as she was researching this line quite intensively.
Are you a Frazier? Good luck on your search?

Hyland, I know there are several of Star's descendants here on the Pine Ridge rez, trying to figure out how far back they needed to go with their information. I gave them some contact names and emails. I am hoping they get their stuff in, I told them that the deadline date is April 28 and I am more than willing to help them put their papers together. Tokakte would you know??

I don't think I can give you anything like an accurate number simply because they seem to keep turning up, particularly since this case was filed. There are many that are enrolled with other tribes, Seminole, Navajo, Cheyenne-Arapahoe, to name a few. I'm trying to compile a listing for a narrative geneology, and I'll be glad to send you a copy when it is complete. PM me your address. By the way, any other interested parties are welcome to this info also.

Are you trying to link up with John Frazier? If so, his lds have been certified, all you would need is your info. just a thought? I understand wanting the info for personal family reasons. let me know if I can be of further help.

None of the Star Frazier LD's were able to find more than family Bible entries for John and Maggie Frazier's kids. For Star and Mary, that shouldn't have been surprising although I did find a Roman Catholic baptismal record for "Wicanhpi", but it wasn't a near-birth baptism. I am surpridsed that we didn't find a record for Charles and Jessie (the one who died as a teen ager). They were born late enough to have recorded baptisms. One problem: Neither the Conregationalists nor the Presbyterians practice infant baptism.
By the way, I'm still looking, but I've exhausted all the more readily available resources.
